The Swollen Feet

I took part in a 5-day project with the Royal College of Art where we looked at the myth of Oedipus. We collaborated to tell the story of Oedipus through 1 woodcut each. Although the process was meticulous and we had limited time, I really enjoyed the development of the print and how each layer not only tells a story of the image, but of the wood we printed with.

Above is the textured 4 coloured woodcut print I did called ‘Home’, and we named the story ‘The Swollen Feet’.
